It seems that for the moment, this has become the standard place from which to use my computer. I know, it is unconventional, at lot more unconventional then the chair which is in close proximity to me. I just have a thing for sitting on the floor lately.
I am nice and calm today. I spent the night at the House of Pain. I suppose the reason I am so calm is that I got to spend the whole night cuddling with Stephanie, and after how crap I was feeling about the whole failing thing and everything else, it was good just to be held.
Mum is unconvinced that I haven't been driving her car everywhere, she seems to think that I used a 1/4 of a tank of fuel. Really I didn't, but she doesn't want to buy that. She also doesn't think that I've been eating all that much even though there is food missing. Well she's actually right, the food is at the HoP, but I ate there. I think the concept is just eluding her.
I think she's keen to what Stephie really means to me, just doesn't want to accept it. I find that amusing for so many reasons.
Another thing, Stephie spends way too much time on her mobile then can really be healthy, I'm sorry Sweetie but you do. It may have been freetime, but she was talking on it for the whole trip home (some 40mins) and then for ages and ages at my house.

It is amazing how many weird, interesting and inane things people have, that other people simply say meh at. These things include stuff like a muppets rendition of Vincent Van Gogh's The Scream. When Steph was unpacking I came across all this stuff that was so, so cool, yet so, so pointless. I concede I also have a lot of pointless junk, maybe I just don't notice it.

What else is current...? Airport security is now more sensitive then ever, I swear those things have been turned up so that they are triggered by the iron in your blood. Absolutely everyone set off the alarm.

Tom rocked up to the HoP this morning a little ratted off. It would seem that Oliver left without him en route to Liz's Games Day. He gave me a strange answer when I asked him how he was:

The people of #UCC do not like jokes to be made about slash, particularly 7of9 slash. Perhaps it drudges up something of their dark past.

Yet, I am rambling... I will clean myself etc. and then head back into uni.
Another observation: my .signature is 5 lines long, some mailing list lamer has a 13 line sig, that is absolutely, completely useless.

I would love to spend another night with Steph, while she gets used to her new house, but I probably can't. I imagine Mum will want to see me, seeing as she hasn't for quite a few days now.
