Stephanie and I went out with Susie and Mesh last night to see Batman Begins. Pretty damned cool. In fact, I'm fairly confident that this is the best movie that I've seen this year. Stephanie will probably have a whole lot more to say, as she is a big Batman fangirl, but I will suffice in saying that it's fantastic and that you should go and see it... like... right now!

Additionally, Cillian Murphy could make a cool adult Harry Potter. He also looks similar to Dr Tom.

We saw the teaser trailer for the new Harry Potter movie. It looks a little bit cool. Also saw two trailers for War of the Worlds with Mr Cruise... that doesn't look very cool, or in fact very good at all. Still haven't seen a trailer at the cinemas for Serenity, the Joss Whedon film.

Two Perth universities want to merge leaving a third, crappy university out in the cold. This could make them one of the biggest universities in Australia. Of course, the University of Western Australia would still be better.
