Went to St Kilda for brunch, then wandered down the Esplanade having a look at the markets and then over the pier to the breakwater. In between the rocks we saw this little scamp...

This image turned out to be quite hard to take (manual focus and no flash) and came out quite dark. The Retinex contrast correction algorithm in Gimp 2.4 turns out to be pretty handy.

Met up with my crime fighting talk partner, and ended up registering. Props to the organisers for securing really neat (and mostly useful) bag stuffers. Went to Shakahari for dinner with Steph et al.

Also, it turns out that there is a store in Melbourne that is an official Threadless reseller. It's called Catfase (I think that's like Beardfacé) it's on Elizabeth St and Abeckett St (I think).
