Rather than go to the Google-party tonight, Steph, Rob Bradford and myself went to see the Australia vs. India Twenty20 (cricket).

I really had no appreciable idea of just how big the MCG really was. I knew it was big, but it turns out that it is really big, we were really high up. I think I now understand why playing with beach balls or doing mexican waves are banned, you could actually very easily fall down the reasonably steep grandstands, especially if you've had a bit to drink.

India didn't really manage to post a serious score, leaving Australia to win easily. There was quite a bit of booing coming from the grandstand around us, especially when H. Singh came out. Gilchrist received a standing ovation after he lost his wicket. I'm not sure if you could say that cricket was the winner.
