as of today this is the longest I've ever been married
Steph and I are in Changi airport waiting for our flight home (so I'm taking advantage of their free wireless). Just posting some teaser shots from the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.

It seems that all the best photos I took of the city have been at night. Any cityscape taken at day has been hazed out in whatever the haze is that seems to perpetually engulf Singapore. This is probably the best one I have, it's still very hazy. Notice the Singapore Cricket Club in the midground.

By my rough calculation, you'd get 3 seconds of free fall before sweet, sweet release. Assuming you were at the top when it happened.

Nice title. :P

Those are some great night shots. I like the day shot, too, though, showing off all the green; the greenery was one of the things that really struck me the first time I went to Singapore.

They let ivy grow up the supports of the bridge. I would have thought they wouldn't have liked that, in case it masked signs of things like concrete sickness.

The haze, I'm afraid, is Indonesia and Malaysia burning down forests so they can plant palm trees for oil, or cutting down forest for timber and burning the rest, or setting fire to great heaps of orang-utans etc.
